Waitress was very sweet, she lit my expresso martini with a birthday candle for my 21st birthday. Me and my friends honestly really liked it and I hope I get to go again. Their food was so delicious.

Came here on a cold, Saturday evening in winter to celebrate a friend's bday. Reservations were made online so when we arrived we were seated immediately; we were seated on the 2nd floor, which I loved - it was a quiet night and it felt like my girls and I had the floor to ourselves. Our waiter, Chris, introduced himself and took our drink orders. After, he took orders for our entrees: 2 of us ordered salmon and 1 ordered a burger. The food took a little while to come out but everything came out cooked to perfection. We all finished our meals and ordered dessert - I ordered a Fig something, 1 person ordered creme brulee and the other ordered apple cheesecake. The Fig something was not for me - it was a lot heavier than I expected and the flavor was not for me. I did taste the other 2 desserts and enjoyed them more so I sent the Fig something back and ordered the Apple cheesecake instead. The service was excellent, the food was great and the ambiance was very comfortable. This spot could be great for so many occasions, low key though: girls night out, first date, just to hang out.... I really enjoyed this spot and will totally return!

Service: very good. We were seated right away. It was a party of 8. We arrived 20 minutes before the dinner menu took effect and so they were kind enough to bring the dinner menu over to some of my companions so they could preorder. I did not eat food here but some of my party did and they all enjoyed what they ordered. I had two of the house sangrias made with red wine. It was tasty but did not taste very strong. Not a big deal since this was a business/education trip. Despite coming to Philadelphia often, I had never been here. So I plan to return with my family next time I'm there. Also bathrooms were clean. There are two of them. One downstairs for everyone and one upstairs that's for women. Also despite having my own separate bill, they did add the gratuity automatically. I read the guidelines upon sitting down at the table, so while a tad off putting, it's nothing serious. Give them a chance.

We came for Sunday brunch with a party of 3 this past weekend. The vibes outside have always been really cute garden looking as we pass, so we were excited to see inside as well as try the food. Inside was decorated just as cool, with wood accents downstairs and all black wall with gold accents upstairs. The tables were spaced well apart which we really appreciate as some places in the city can be so crammed. The service was excellent, our waiter took great care of us. We had a food allergy and he was really kind and made sure everything we ate was cleared by the chef. It sounded like they made almost if not all their items in-house which is awesome. Our waiter recommended the giant cinnamon bun to start, which was so delicious! All three of us loved it. I tried the S'mores french toast, and it was one of the best french toasts I've ever had. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, but not soggy. The toppings were so good as well. My other table members tried the avocado toast and the eggs benedict with steak and each said they really liked theirs. I think the prices were really fair for the quality of food along with the quickness of the kitchen, the friendliness of the waitstaff, and the really cute vibes inside and out.

From the moment you walk through the garden, the decor and ambiance are quite relaxing and inviting. Presentation is wonderful both the inside and the garden patio area. Staff were very welcoming and were happy to answer our menu questions. Well crafted food and drink menu, though only tried food this trip. The herb roasted chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The salmon dish comes in a skillet filled with miso gnocchi as a side, but they were very tasty and I could eat that as a main. Nice spot, thanks.

We searched for cocktail places open early on a Monday where we could sit outside and Harper's Garden came up with glowing reviews.... and, here's another one. THE VIBE It wasn't very busy when we arrived (around maybe 1pm); we asked to sit outside on their patio. "The open-air veranda shades guests in our vibrant garden, offering a unique escape from the bustle of the city," they describe it. And: yes. It's open on the sides, but it's covered in a way that protects you from the elements (eg: the scorching sun the day we visited). Lush greenery, Edison lights, great seating options (we felt like we were tucked away in our own little nook). I's an absolute oasis in the city. I don't think we would have loved this place as much if we hadn't been sitting outside. Come at dusk for cocktails with friends and love your life, yeah? THE COCKTAILS ($13) The unique signature cocktails, like the menu, rotate (so don't fall in love with something; or do, but know it won't be around long). What we had when we visited was specific to that time of year. The server was, initially, a little aggressive explaining their concept, the specialness of the menu, the creative minds behind the bar, and with her recommendations (...both of which were terrible, to be honest). We started off with: 1) Princess Jasmine (jasmine-infused vodka, creme de violette, vermouth, cucumber, grapefruit) - so, so, so, so, so floral forward. Kind of perfume-y? 2) Between A Rock And A Coconut (tequila, coconut whiskey, cucumber, mint, cherry bitters, soda) - surprisingly one note and earthier than we were expecting; we couldn't taste any of the components individually. For our second round we decided to go with two cocktails our server did NOT recommend, and they were exceptional: 1) Black Manhattan (whiskey, averna, black walnut bitters) - it was a well-crafted Manhattan, there were no surprises here. 2) Mango Colada (cognac, mango, rice infused coconut milk, lemon, saline, black sesame seeds) - yeah, okay, this was one of the best drinks I've had this year. I wish I had just gotten two of these. They were PERFECT for the heat! So interesting in flavor and texture, just tropical enough, creamy... this will be one of those cocktails I always remember. THE SERVICE Our server warmed to us eventually, made sure we were well hydrated because it was genuinely like 100 degrees out, and was thoughtful about double-checking vegan ingredients! ABSOLUTELY will visit again the next time we're in Philly. I wanna know what the next cocktail menu will have on it!
